Reese Witherspoon seriously pursued her acting career after enrolment at Stanford University. Following a handful of performances, she was cast in films like Pleasantville as well as Election. In her first year of high school Witherspoon thought about quitting acting and follow in the footsteps of her parents into the medical field. She stayed away from college for one year in order to concentrate on the acting profession. At Stanford University she briefly studied English prior to returning to the work force. In 2003, she made her debut as a film star as a lead actress in The Invisible Man. In the following years, she was a part of several television series, including House of Lies Whitney, Better Call Saul and The Invisible Man. In addition to her acting work as a performer, she's appeared in films such as The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. She is a talented artist and painter in along with being an accomplished actress.
