Aaliyah's debut album Age Ain't Nothing However A Number debuted in 1994. Aaliyah Dana Haughton was just fifteen when her debut album was released as Gold. This collaboration, heavily influenced R. Kelly's music, brought her into the spotlight. She collaborated in 1996 with Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland for her second album One In A Million which featured the hit number one single If You Only Knew. Aaliyah achieved international recognition for her R&B singing on the release of this album. The year 2000 saw her starred alongside the legendary martial artist Jet Li as Jet Li in Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, the film producer, saw her at the awards ceremony and kindly offered her this part. Queen of the Damned was her first film role in 2002. It is based off the Anne Rice novel. Then she was introduced to the Matrix in the form of Zee as Zee in The Matrix Sequels having also performed on The Matrix Reloaded in 2003 as well as The Matrix Revolutions in the same year. She was nominated four times for Grammys, in 2001, 1999 and 2002. She is an Indian-American of one generation who was of origin born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation for her husband's first name Mankad. Aarti is the combination of Aarti as well as Aarti. Majumdar. The acting career of her began in the mid 2000's, with a few roles on TV and films. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She has also been featured in commercials of major companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. The actress currently resides with her family in Los Angeles along with her spouse, daughter, and husband. She is also pursuing her acting profession.
